Gregory's ServerServer governance—moderation, server leadership, all that messy political (de)federation stuff—defines a whole lot of each member's experience of the fediverse. But for newcomers and fedi-curious especially, it's so opaque. I want to address that head-on.

Finally, I failed to put this in the post itself yet bc I'm not used to this but THANK YOU to the people who have signed onto this weird quest I have undertaken! Your signups and memberships are giving me so much hope for this model, and also so much optimism about how many people care about this network culture work.
