@ShinjiLE @NanoRaptor wait is it nanoraptor?? if so, i can't believe i got nanoraptor’d @samhenrigold The fact that it says its only rated for 900w/4A makes it extra hilarious. Seeing as even normal cheap powerbars are usually rated for 1800w/15A @samhenrigold Kitchen? Probably can only handle 2-3 appliances. It's 900W. Electricity is magical in that if you have thicc enough cables you can connect a *lot* of appliances through one. Usually the loops in your house will have a rating for amperes, and a safety switch that will turn itself off if it's exceeded (the power plugs might have a limit too) @samhenrigold I love the honest description, saying it is for Home, Office, Dorm, Gaming Room and Fire. 🔥 @samhenrigold Never has it been more adequate that this kind of socket actually looks like a really worried face. @samhenrigold love the 18awg whip design choice. more stylish with no downside whatsoever. @samhenrigold A running gag on the "Green Acres" TV series was the limited power capacity of their generator. So they had this plug board for different household appliances, and rules about how many of each "level" could be plugged in at the same time at the board. Done in a hilarious way, but absolutely valid. @samhenrigold Looking at my wall-warts of all weird shapes that point out in different directions, I think I could probably plug about 5 or 6 of them into this! @samhenrigold Sure. The cable should vapourise so fast it wont have time to catch fire :p @samhenrigold At least it's honest and has "Fire" right in the list of applications. @samhenrigold the amazon driver has to wear a fireproof suit and gloves to even deliver this. @samhenrigold @NanoRaptor I have more like 80 appliances to plug in, and there are only 66 sockets - so I can take two of these and plug them into a surge-protected power strip, right? @samhenrigold plugging additional toasters in, looking back at the audience to watch them clap @samhenrigold They seem a bit confused. It says 12-14 USB. Don't they *know*?! And 0.8A and 10W don't exactly add up, either. Still, it must be legit, right? ;-) @samhenrigold i love how puny the cable coming off it is. just run 66 appliances over 20AWG wires, who cares @samhenrigold @samhenrigold At least they are into truth in advertising by including "Fire" at the end of the product name/description 🔥 |
@samhenrigold You unlock a funny result from that called Housious Explodious.
