If this turns out to be true, that’ll probably be when I upgrade from my M1 Pro (2021). I’ve never had a MacBook last that long, so I’ll be curious to see if it can go for another two years. With the Intel laptops, the speed difference was great enough that a four year cycle made a significant difference in my workflow. But the M1 is just so good, I don’t yet have the desire to upgrade for any reason. I don’t even think the M4 would make a dent in my workflow.
