Of course RE can be used to power them (although water demand isn’t solved) -if built fast enough, otherwise fossil power must be used- but this increases the overall RE demand, more pressure on grids & makes decarbonisation more difficult & slow.

Sustainability is a big, often ignored, issue of the tech industry.
