@doerk @hacks4pancakes yea - at rest encryption for mail would be nice.... Also, as a nerd, I'd love some sort of easy re-encryptor for pgp mails. So when I change my key I wouldn't have to keep the old one around (if I remember correct, PGP signs then encrypts mails so could re-encrypt with a new key without breaking signatures... If memory serves).

Yes, that’s one issue with PGP. Another is that subject is not encrypted. Email was never designed to be secure and PGP is just an addon, trying to make it more secure. For secure communication I recommend a messenger (definitely not Telegram), but messenger are another type of communication. In business context, email is most common, even though in business communication security should have highest priority.
