so anyway i've been cooking up a minecraft modpack

and it accidentally turned out to be a garrys mod clone.

modpack includes stuff like:

- create mod
- valkyrien skies (it lets you turn things into physics things)
- computercraft
- a bunch of addons to link these three together
- guns
- bigger guns
- electricity
- a custom, never seen before model of my own, personal railgun (not craftable in survival as of yet)
- computers with actual linux
- computers without actual linux (so, regular computercraft)
- epic fight (for melee combat)

its not yet finished, and i did no survival mode balancing as of yet, so feel free to hop on and experiment

(if you dont actually own a copy of minecraft, remove essential from the mod lists)

minecraft main menu with 213 mods loaded, the minecraft title is replaced with "GGMOD: Minecraft" and there are icons all over the main menu
a minecraft screenshot. the hud is modified to display health, hunger and player face in the top left, but the hotbar stays where it is usually. i am holding a garrys mod toolgun in the Rope mode, other things in my hotbar include a create mod wrench, a gravity gun, a railgun and a yellow phone. i am hovering mid-air on gm_construct, aiming my toolgun at a big vehicle made mostly out of polished deepslate tiles, but there's also orange and white concrete that adds a splash of colour. its interior is decorated with create mod brass casings, and it has a six wheel configuration. the vehicle is also rotated like 30 degrees off the minecraft block grid, which emphasizes the fact that it is not, in fact, a regular block structure, and is instead a physics object.

Doesn’t essential add microtransactions to java? I’d probably take it out anyways even tho I have two copies of minceraft I paid for ages ago

@panegyr yeah, and cosmetics, and also a friends system that somehow does not suck and lets you join other players worlds in a convenient way

essential itself is entirely optional

@gravitos really cool idea, do you have any plans on recreating it for fabric? forge on versions later than 1.12 is a bit ehh
