@shel I realized that when we all went fully remote in 2017. Shortly after that, the office was relocated to Dubai, and no way in hell were I giving up my painstakingly built social life by moving there. That being said, I was more productive there when I flew in for 2 weeks last year.

In the end, it all doesn't matter because I was fired in April that same year.
