You can scribble notes on the map in @everydoor editor. These notes are publicly visible and can be viewed as a layer in #josm

@owiecc That looks like you're adding junk data to the OSM map... Are you sure you're not doing that?

@neatnit If it's a separate layer in JOSM, it's probably not part of the OSM data proper, is it?

@das_g @neatnit it is a separate project. These notes will slowly disappear from the layer.

@das_g @owiecc I initially assumed it's part of the very same database, just tagged as scribbles instead of roads or other map features. But I just looked it up, and nope - it's a separate service running on separate servers: wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Ge

So scribble away :)

Screenshot of the Every Door OpenStreetMap editor interface showcasing the new Scribbles feature. The map displays a street layout with buildings and pathways, labeled with "Alchemium." Handwritten scribbles are overlaid on the map, reading "Hi SotMEU people" with a smiley face and a heart symbol.

@owiecc @everydoor The interface includes typical map editing tools such as zoom in/out buttons, a menu button, and various icons at the bottom for different functionalities. The time displayed on the device is 21:24, and the device status bar shows Wi-Fi and battery icons.
