@mcc I feel this hard, i wrote this silly thing https://levlaz.org/an-ode-to-linux-desktop-users-everywhere/ in 2016 and coming back to linux on laptop recently it feels like not much has changed.

At this point I wonder how much of me going through the pain is a part of the appeal?

@levlaz I distinctly remember the feeling of joy that I experienced when I finally decided to give up the pain of my Linux laptop and move to a Mac. This was around 2006, and all I can remember was that WiFi was a hot mess and every kernel upgrade was a nail biting experience. I applied my brain to other problems, and was happier for it. 😝

@jeffpalmer Hahaha -- Jeff please I just came back, im going to give it at least a few months. :D

BTW I will say running Docker on Linux is 100x better than MacOS, especially due to disk speed issues so its not all pure sadness anymore.
