Gregory's Server@mcc oh lordy the image preview thing. I fixed that by following arcane instructions to get Firefox installed old style from a debian package again via a PPA, rather than Ubuntu's snap and that did the job - at the price of nuking my profile and requiring me to set it all up again. It's infuriating that Ubuntu took the app we probably spend most time with, and preferred to push it into the snap model they advocate at the cost of usability.
If I weren't so pig-headedly committed to FOSS I would be running a Mac for sure.
