@mcc The Firefox snap is not good. I use a ppa to install firefox as deb package on all the Ubuntu machines I manage.

It will not solve all your problems, but maybe one of the important ones?

It really sounds like you may want to buy a Mac next time though 😀 It is very hard to compete with the MacOS laptop experience.
