I share your perspective if not, just nervously wondering what I missed now. Not personally, but I'm quite certain that my national archive will have microfiche of all of them. Just like I don't need access to the original sources of the Persian works that underlie the maths I use on a daily basis, it's good to know that they are still available. Just like with newspapers we can have a discussion if some of these things are worth preserving, but I don't want to make that call and decide what will be seen as important in a century. |
