Unpacked my new #framework13 laptop. Assembled. Installed #linux, everything working. Happy. Go to bed. Wake up. Email: "Exciting news! We're announcing a new framework, with a better screen and better camera!"

For a moment, I had that pang of regret that one gets when one buys a laptop that gets superseded in less than 24 hours.

Then I remembered: it's a #framework. If I really want the better screen, I can just order the new panel from them and install it on my framework, same with the camera module. The regret faded as quickly as it had appeared, replaced by validation and renewed understanding about why buying a framework was such a good choice.
