Once you start feeding the strays, they learn to demand food. This squirrel knows that I will show up to let the cats in and toss a peanut to get rid of him. Feral tuxedo cat Harley has no problem catching voles, chipmunks, and birds, but none of our cats have been tough enough to mess with these squirrels.
