Now I wonder what the weirdest thing you could feed and still record some sort of recognizable audio is.  @manawyrm @janamarie take the magnet strips from public parking liftgates and glue them together, forming a strip. @manawyrm @janamarie P.S. do not drive up with cargo bikes to those lift gates. they may hand you paper cards automatically without even pressing a button... and may even repeat the process, if you accidentally move the bike in the "wrong" pattern.    @janamarie Hmpf... 100nF they are everywhere these days, since they sold out a couple of years ago.
