@saphire i think something like these posts are the most relevant context for why I made this @saphire but basically we're calling anything and everything a misskey fork. this is also playing on the fact that there are a lot of actual misskey forks. I don't know why, but forking misskey is very popular for some reason. just off the top of my head I know iceshrimp, firefish and sharkey. it's also in the format of the "featherless biped" meme (the checklist of attributes and then coming to the conclusion that "THIS IS A MAN")  @EndlessMason@hachyderm.io @terrain@tech.lgbt use something like Sharkey, misskey lacks a lot of things like account migration imho The Internet is a failure.
