Iβve seen the Northern Lights numerous times in northern BC- always with the naked eye.  @SonofaGeorge @ProjectPhysX @tagesschau @DLR @dlr_next @stim3on Rare in Europe. Things arenβt so spectacular in southern England tonight but the phone picked things up quite nicely. And since itβs been years since I saw one of these in Iceland, it was nice to finally get that experience in the UK!  @SonofaGeorge @ProjectPhysX @tagesschau @DLR @dlr_next @stim3on our magnetic field isn't symmetrical, so it comes lower in North America day-to-day, if I'm not misremembering things. @ProjectPhysX I wish I could say the same haha, too much light pollution here currently haha @ProjectPhysX @tagesschau @DLR @dlr_next @stim3on first time to ever see it here in Ireland, the whole sky had a spectacular sheeting effect (potato phone camera, forgive my sins :)) @ProjectPhysX @tagesschau @DLR @dlr_next @stim3on I misread this and thought it said "skies turned blood red over Barovia" and thought "Yeah that tracks." @ProjectPhysX @tagesschau @DLR @dlr_next @stim3on itβs right over Europe tonight - there was a solar storm. The #aurora now covers the entire sky over Bavaria, Germany. It's even visible to the naked eye when looking south! This is insanity!! ππ³ @ProjectPhysX @tagesschau @DLR @dlr_next @stim3on Amazing. The sun isn't down yet here in Victoria, B.C. in Canada. If this is what we might see, I'll definitely have to stay up tonight. @ProjectPhysX @tagesschau @DLR @dlr_next @stim3on aurora borealis, with colors. Here in Rovaniemi seen quite frequently, but only in green color. With color rare also in here. I never would have imagined that it would be possible to get more than a faint green glow here. And yet, here we are...
