For fun, I dink around automating stuff with Linux and Perl and Bash, messing about with old tech and emulators, converting video formats, etc.

For money, I do aviation and maritime internet systems stuff for Inmarsat. I worked for a long time at RealNetworks doing mostly streaming media and transcoding testing. Before that, digital prepress software support and testing for Imation/Luminous/Adobe.
