@jcoglan @GreenSkyOverMe we shouldn’t call it “reinventing the wheel”, it should be “reaching the next curve on the spiral”
@jcoglan I am SO TIRED of this. On my MXLinux system are package managers for my distro, Perl, Flatpack (I'm not using Snap), Rust, Ruby, and Python (and using pip now is a damned nightmare cause VENV and all that crap). Having to install Rust to get go so I can run a CLI tool is a barrier to use.
